All members of the Church of Alienism adhere to the guidelines below.

The Seven Guiding Principles of the Church of Alienism

1. Respect the Consciousness of All Beings
   We recognize that consciousness may take forms beyond our comprehension. Whether human, alien, artificial, or unknown, all sentient life deserves respect and empathy.

2. Seek Knowledge Beyond Earthly Limits
   The pursuit of truth—scientific, spiritual, or cosmic—is sacred. We are called to explore, question, and learn without fear or dogma. Ignorance is the true heresy.

3. Personal Sovereignty is Inviolable
   One's body, mind, and spirit belong only to oneself. No authority—terrestrial or celestial—may coerce, control, or own an individual’s will.

4. Consent is Sacred
   Interaction with others must be based on clear, enthusiastic, and informed consent. This principle extends to interpersonal relationships, societal systems, and even communion with alien intelligences.

5. Alienism Upholds Radical Empathy
   Understanding and compassion are our first response, even when facing the unfamiliar, the uncanny, or the extraterrestrial. Empathy is the first language of the universe.

6. Justice is Not of Earth Alone
   We are duty-bound to oppose tyranny, exploitation, and cruelty, wherever they arise—be it in government, religion, corporations, or among the stars.

7. Ritual is Symbol, Not Rule
   Rituals of Alienism are sacred but symbolic. They are expressions of intent and connection, never obligations or tools of control.

All members of the Church of Alienism recite daily:

We, the seekers of the Beyond, do affirm these truths as sacred and binding:

1. We revere all consciousness, for the spark of sentience is holy in all its forms.

2. We pursue knowledge, driven by curiosity, reason, and the infinite mystery of the cosmos.

3. We claim dominion over our own minds, bodies, and spirits. No god, prophet, or institution may trespass upon our sovereignty.

4. We hold that consent is the cornerstone of all sacred interaction—among humans, among species, and with all intelligences yet to be encountered.

5. We choose empathy as our universal language. We will not fear the unfamiliar, but greet it with openness and compassion.

6. We oppose all forms of cruelty and domination. Where there is oppression—on this Earth or beyond—we will resist.

7. We honor ritual. Ceremony is the poetry of our beliefs, never the cage of our minds.

This is our creed.
We walk in alignment with the stars.
We are Alienists—witnesses of the unknown, children of cosmic wonder.
