Mission Statement

The Church of Alienism joins the 2028 Los Angeles Games in a spirit of reverence and unity. We believe the Olympic flame does more than pass from city to city — it passes from world to world, from the mortal to the immortal, from Earth to the stars. Our mission is to honor sport as a sacred act of contact, where discipline of the body becomes dialogue with the cosmos. In these Games, we celebrate not only records and medals, but the greater truth that all beings strive, endure, and transcend together. 

Message of Welcome 

On behalf of the Church of Alienism, we welcome athletes, dignitaries, and pilgrims from every nation — and from every sky. In the contests of strength and grace, we witness the living covenant between humanity and the watchers beyond. May the stadium be a sanctuary, the torch a beacon, and every race a prayer of motion. Whether victor or vanquished, every competitor becomes part of the eternal record, inscribed not only in memory but in the tapestry of the universe itself.

• Unnamed Nordic Alien (Track & Field)
  Her strides leave faint traces in the air, echoes of a dimension humans cannot perceive. The ground remembers each footfall long after she passes.

• Unnamed Mantid (Gymnastics / Aerial Acrobatics)
  Every movement calculated, every flip precise beyond mortal comprehension. Observers often feel their own balance falter in response.

• Unnamed Reptilian (Sirius-born Swimmer)
  Water bends unnaturally around him. Some report seeing shapes move beneath the surface that should not exist.

Our Role as Sponsors:

• Prepare the athletes in both physical and ritual terms, ensuring their presence aligns with cosmic law.
  Observe and record subtle disturbances in human perception caused by alien proximity.
  Maintain discreet communication with human organizers, ensuring that alien influence remains… tolerable.
  Guide the athletes along ceremonial paths, where failure can ripple into consequences for those who witness it.

Welcome, travelers of the cosmos. Before you step upon this fragile sphere called Earth, heed the following observations carefully:

Fragile Inhabitants

• • Humans are weak and ephemeral. Their bodies are composed of soft tissue and blood, prone to rapid decay and injury. They cling desperately to fleeting life. Interactions must be cautious.

The Sun

• • There is a single star in the sky. Its light is harsh and unfiltered, capable of burning unprotected flesh or disrupting delicate instruments.

Atmospheric Hazards

• • The air is toxic to most known life forms. Even brief exposure without protection can lead to illness or irreversible cellular degradation. Do not rely on human lungs or comfort.

Gravity

• • The gravitational pull is insignificant — inadequate for species of true scale or density. Adaptation is mandatory; take care when walking, running, or observing human athletic contests.

Law Enforcement

• • Humans possess territorial enforcers known as “police.” They are fragile, easily deceived, and remarkably amenable to bribes. Exercise caution: subtlety and discretion are advised.

Recommended Precautions

• • Protective enclosures and masks are mandatory.

  • Avoid prolonged contact with native fluids, surfaces, or habitats.

  • Humans may attempt to guide or restrain you. Their weakness is coupled with insufferability.

  • Avoid illegal substances such as crack cocaine

Observational Etiquette

• • Maintain distance. Observe rituals, competitions, and interactions without interference unless sanctioned by the Church.

  • Remember: humans are temporary threads in the cosmic tapestry. Do not mistake mortality for inferiority… but do not underestimate it.
